I like stuff like this that doesn't get much publicity but is a great argument. <br /><br /><a href="http://catholicnick.blogspot.com/2010/07/faith-alone-obliterated.html" rel="nofollow">A month ago I found something</a> I consider to be proof of inspiration of 1 Maccabees (2:52), where it says: <br /><br />"Was not Abraham found faithful in temptation, and it was reputed to him unto justice?" <br /><br />In Greek this is *identical* to Genesis 15:6 where it says "credited as righteousness." But the real find is that James 2:24 calls this a moment of justification, quotes "credited as righteousness," and thus he undoubtedly had to have this in mind when he spoke.
